Death of Andreacchio

Christian Andreacchio
was discovered dead in the upstairs of the apartment in Meridian, Mississippi on February 26, 2014. He was slumped over his tub and was shot in the head.

Authorities with the Meridian Police Department hurried to the scene. Following a 45-minute evaluation, the 21-year-old's death was ruled a suicide and the case was closed.

According to those who knew him the best, Andreacchio had big plans to become a ship captain. With outside appearances, he seemed to be happy with his life -- and had never shown any sign he wished to kill himself. The Andreacchio family asserts that Christian's departure was due to foul play -- which they think the physical evidence demonstrates that he did not commit suicide.

To begin with, Christian was not alone at the flat. Two people were with him and the two of these were initially named in arrest warrants that were never fulfilled by law enforcement. Both of the folks in the apartment supposedly had gunshot residue on their hands.

Additionally, Andreacchio was right-handed, however, the pistol was discovered by his left leg. It was likewise uncocked, using a live round in the room.

The family hired their own forensic experts, who concluded that the blood spatters in the restroom and the location of a bullet hole by the sink did not line up with the official explanation which Andreacchio had taken himself while kneeling over the tub.

Despite the alleged new evidence, the Meridian Police Department stands by their initial ruling of suicide and the family believes they have been blocked by local and state agencies in their search for justice.
